Fasching 2017| Irit Landgraf

Hi! Irit here with a new project I created using the gorgeous February 2017 kits. I used some mixed media to create a little sky scene on my layout. Here’s the finished page-

17

I used some of the patterned papers in the main kit to create my clouds, and added some texture with paint and sewing. The Shimmerz paint that comes in the color kit is perfect for scrapbook layouts, as it has a matte finish. Other media like oil pastels, paint, pen or pencil, can easily be layered on top. My finishing touches were puffy stickers from the Paige Evans Oh My Heart collection and some gold accents by PinkFresh Studio.

Don’t forget to watch the video tutorial and see how this came together-

Thanks for visiting and have a great Sunday!

DIY Traveler’s Notebook Insert | Irit Landgraf

Hi and happy valentine’s day! Irit here and today I have something fun and different to share with you! I used my beautiful January 2017 kits to create my own Traveler’s Notebook insert. Here’s my finished project-

17

I used my favorite paper from the main kit as my cover, and added a layer of vellum from the cardstock kit for a softer look.

For the pages in my insert I used different patterned paper. Some the full size of my notebook and some cut down. I like the variety of different sizes.

25

For my embellishments I used the pretty goodies from the January kits. This is such a great way of using those bits and pieces! Since there are so many die cuts and stickers in the kits, I find it easier to keep my color schemes simple, with one or two main colors per spread. This way my choices are narrowed down and my process is faster. Here’s a spread with a blue and green colors scheme.

21

Here’s a slideshow with some more images of my insert. And of course, as always, I created a video tutorial showing how this came together, just scroll down to see it.

Sweet Vienna | Irit Landgraf

Hi! Irit here with a new project using the lovely Hip Kit Club January 2017 kits. Today I’m using a large photo on my layout. This is a great way to showcase a special photo, and make your albums more varied and interesting. Here’s my layout-

7

I took this lovely photo on a recent trip to Vienna. The colors worked so well with the items in the kits, especially the color scheme of Pink Paislee’s Moonstruck collection.

8

I created my custom title using a die cut word, cork and puffy stickers right on my photo.

9

The cards in the PL style kit are perfect for adding journaling also on 12×12 layouts.

All Smiles | Irit Landgraf

Hi! Irit here sharing a new project using the beautiful December kits. I have been really happy using patterned paper for my backgrounds this month, trying to break that white cardstock pattern (see what I did there? lol)… Here’s my layout for this week-

14

I love all the goodies from the Paige Evans Take Me Away collection in the kits, and that patterned paper is just perfection.

15

My favorite pieces in pretty much any ephemera pack are the floral ones, so I cut one into two pieces so I could use it above and bellow my photo.

18

Those white foam Thickers from the main kit. Sigh.

16

I used lots of die cuts from the ephemera pack in the main kit, and added some enamel dots for my final touches. Watch the video tutorial I created and see exactly how this came together!

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day!

Beautiful | Irit Landgraf

Hi! Irit here with a new layout I created using the gorgeous December 2016 kits! Here’s the finished page-

4

The design was inspired by a fellow scrapbooker’s style, Susie Fishburne. I used lots of layers and little details, and it was so fun to make!

9

I started this layour with a little bit of mixed media, using some white paint and some of the goodies in the December color kit. The dot stencil is my favorite! I also used Shimmerz Dazzlers paste we got in the November color kit, it’s a shimmery modeling paste in silver. So pretty!

6

I created my own little layered embellishments by hand cutting and punching various shapes from the main kit‘s beautiful patterned papers. I added some stitching for even more texture.

5

Final touches were some punched butterflies, splatters and some doodles in white ink. Check out the video tutorial I made and see exactly how to create this!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I wish you a wonderful new year!

First Birthday Layout | Irit Landgraf

Hi! Irit here with a new layout using the lovely November kits. I created this birthday themed layout to document my daughter’s first birthday-

dec18th

I chose to go with a monochromatic color scheme, using lots of white, pink and pops of black. I love the exclusive papers in the December Documented kit, and they were perfect here.

Hi! Irit here and I’m excited to share with you two fun gift ideas you can easily make with your November kits!

The first one is a candy dispenser. I used a cut file from the Silhouette Design stores, and decorated it with some lovely goodies from the November kits.

10

The second project is also super simple to make (again I used a cut file from the Silhouette Design store), and it’s perfect for little treats for family members, your kids’ teachers, friends and co-workers.

Celebrate 2016 With Irit

Hi! Irit here with a new project using the lovely November Hip Kit Club kits! My theme for this week is clever with punches, and here’s my finished project-

5

I started with creating my own stencil using a heart punch and a piece of cardstock from the cardstock kit. You can see exactly how in the video tutorial!

I also used punches to create dimensional embellishments. The gorgeous puffy stickers from both the DD kit, and the embellishment kit, as well as that adorable Crate Paper bear from the main kit, were the perfect addition to my custom embellishments.
